Maintenance of your web site is very important. How many times have you come across a web site which has obviously not been updated for months? It is not a very good shop window for an organisation, is it? So, right from the start you have to plan for a maintenance schedule. I would suggest once per month as the bare minimum. It doesn't have to be much, but all your press releases should go on your web site. You may have events, seminars, news to communicate. You say you don't have anything new, then what on earth are you doing? You don't need a web site, you need an overhaul of your organisation! How are you going to do the maintenance? Well, it's not difficult. You have already created the press release, you have some pictures of your activities. You can pay a designer to update your site, or you can do it yourself using some simple free tools such as Arachnophilia, which is what this web site is written with. You'll have to have learnt a little bit of HTML as mentioned before, but it isn't very hard to do. If you organisation is large enough then you will have someone who can do this job.
